Garden Delight

What a splendiferous set Stampin' Up!'s Color and Contour is (goodness me, it's hard not adding the 'u' in color!). It just quietly minds its own business in the catalogue, but brings joy from the moment you open it, with its flowers and frames/borders. Here, I've used it to respond to CAS Colors and Sketch's #429: Bumblebee, Garden Green and Pear Pizazz, and Freshly Made Sketch's #495

Ingredients:

Stampin' Up! card: (Garden Green, Pear Pizazz, Bumblebee, Whisper White), ink (Garden Green, Pear Pizazz, Bumblebee, Memento Tuxedo Black), Poinsettia Place DSP, Color & Contour Bundle, Petals and More stamp (sentiment).

Global Design Project 300: CASe the Designer

A lovely card from Steffi Helmschrott in GDP's Challenge 300:

prompted me to reach for the All About Baby bundle from Stampin' Up! This is a very sweet set, and I can see lots of happy times with it ahead.

I found the symmetry of Steffi's design very satisfying to recreate:

Ingredients:
Stampin' Up! All About Baby bundle, ink (Highland Heather, Old Olive, Memento Tuxedo), card (Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss), Watercolor Shapes stamps, Tasteful Labels dies, In-colour gems. Can't remember the DSP, but it has ice creams on other sheets
Other products - Kraft card

Night Sky

I'm loving Stampin' Up's Watercolor Shapes and To The Moon stampsets, and used them for this card, which is a response to Freshly Made Sketches' FMS493. After sponging the background, I used the two small star cluster stamps from To The Moon to create the 'Milky Way'. I cut the full and crescent moons from a larger circle in Watercolor Shapes, and silver embossed them over grey.

Ingredients
Stampin' Up!: card (Whisper White, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy), ink (Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Basic Grey, Momento Tuxedo Black), Shimmery White and Silver embossing powder, Layering Circles Dies, To The Moon and Watercolor Shapes stamps.

Mid-century Vibe

I was drawn to the Layering Diorama dies from Stampin' Up! not so much because they could layer on top of each other, but because I like the organic, flowing shapes. I've used them here with the 'Nothing's Better Than' set to create a retro style card. Thanks  CAS Colors and Sketches (#427) for the colour inspiration.

Note: Here are another couple of cards on a similar theme, since I've been playing around.

Ingredients: Stampin' Up card: (Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Basic White, Merry Merlot), ink (Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso), Dies (Layering Diorama, Love You More Than), Nothing's Better Than stampset
