Monochrome Flowers

I'be wanted to enter The Flower Challenge for ages, but this is the first time I've actually accomplished that. I found this latest challenge really - well, challenging!
I find it hard to stay within one colour family. Here's the card I came up with:

Ingredients: Stampin' Up ink (Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Sweet Sugarplum), card (Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Merry Merlot), Thinlits (Botanical Tags), Stamp (Happy Birthday Gorgeous - sentiment) and tag punch.
Other: Derwent Intense Watercolour Pencils.

  1. Im so glad you decided to join us at The Flower Challenge and yes you probably picked one of our harder challenges at that. But you have done a wonderful job with the card you have made. I love the colours used and how you have partially coloured within the diecut flowers and the design is just perfect. Thank you so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge and we hope to see you there again soon. Aileen DesignTeam

  3. I like the way you've coloured through the die cut - it adds such a sense of depth. I entered Flower Challenge for the first time this month too, twin!
