I loved Time Out's photo inspiration
#102, and combined it with SUO's invitation in challenge
#193 to use 'hearts a'plenty' to make a card for my husband for Valentine's Day. I hope he'll like the bold composition and colours (or at least will be too polite to say if he doesn't!)
The card:
Made using:
Stampin' Up paper (Cajun Crazy, Gold, Basic Black and Pop of Pink dsp) ink (Basic Black), dies (Sweet and Sassy, Celebrate You), enamel hearts and stamp (Thoughtful Banners for 'love')
Those stripes are fantastic. It's great to see a Valentine card that is masculine and works so well.
ReplyDeleteThose stripes work perfectly with the inspiration photo and love your clean and simple design too. The pop of red is fantastic too to emphasize love. So glad you joined us at TIME OUT!!
ReplyDeleteAll those different kinds of hearts and the striped background make this a perfect card for a man. Thanks for joining the SUO Challenge this time!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure your hubby will love this! I really like these non-traditional colors for Valentine's Day, I'm sure most men find colors like this a lot better than pink! :) Great use of dies too. Thanks for joining us at Time Out!
