Say it with flowers

I couldn't resist Colour Throwdown's Challenge #439, since I love bright colours and so their red, orange, purple and yellow combination sounded great. I combined it with Freshly Made Sketches' sketch challenge #284.

I sponged and then water-marked (I mean literally marked with drops of water!) the vertical strip, then punched out two half pansy shapes. I used the holes as placement for two raised pansies.

Made using:
Ink: Stampin' Up's Daffodil Delight, Blackberry Bliss, Real Red and Tangelo Twist
Paper: Stampin' Up's Whisper White and Blackberry Bliss
Other: Stampin' Up's Enamel Bright Shapes, Bunch of Banners Framelits, Love and Affection and Thoughtful Banners Shapes and Pansy Punch.

  1. Lovely! The sponged and literally watermarked panel is a stunning backdrop for the simple flowers.

  2. Gorgeous card!! Love your watermarked really sets off the flowers!

  3. Love the sponged and watermarked background!, so happy you joined us at CTD!
