A very quick post so I make the deadline - this card is a response to two challenges: As You See It's #148 (garden green, so saffron and pink pirouette) and CAS Colours and Sketches #220. I really wanted to try a new lace background stamp I've just bought, so used that as a starting point.
Made using:
Ink: Stampin' Up Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Garden Green
Paper: Stampin' Up Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Garden Green, Whisper White
Other: Stampin' Upbig on Birthdays Stamp (sentiment), ek miniature flower punch, Dienamics rectangular stiched frame die, Stampin' Up's Flourish thinlits, Kaisercrarft Hearts Border dies, Stampin' Up's subtle dots.
Lovely card. That heart die makes a wonderful border. Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteI really love that heart border and that pretty lace background. Thanks for joining us this week at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteThe lace background stamp is utterly gorgeous and a perfect way to use the soft pink of the challenge. I like the way you've used the heart border as the top part of the sketch too. The inlays of yellow look great. Thanks so much for joining us at As You See It.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, loving the mix of florals, hearts and lace. Beautiful take on the sketch and thanks for joining in at CC&S. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card and love how you substituted the hearts for the scallops. Thanks for joining us on this weeks CC&S challenge.
ReplyDeleteThat lacy background makes the whole card look so delicate! Those tiny flowers really pop on that green background and the heart boarder at the top is really effective! So glad you played along with us at As You See It Challenges!
