At first glance, I wasn't particularly excited by the new Stampin' Up Petal Passion Suite. However, having used it extensively to make this card, in response to Time Out's challenge #100
: Be Thankful; and As You See It's lovely sketch challenge #167
, I'm a convert. I also had a chance to try alcohol based markers, and loved those as well. More playing ahead!
Stampin' Up: Petal Psssion Suite (Petal Palette Stamp set and Petals and More thinlit dies), Stampin' Blends Markers (Pink Pirouette light and dark, Rich Razzleberry Light, Old Olive light and dark), ink (Sweet Sugarplum, Basic Black), card (Sweet Sugarplum, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Night of Navy) and dies (Stitched Shapes, Labels)
So fresh and pretty, Jo ... great colouring, lovely layering and still wonderfully clean! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)ReplyDelete
What a lovely take on the sketch, Jo. I like the way you combined the stamped and die-cut elements for the vertical features. You chose very pleasing colours for this floral design and your colouring with the alcohol markers showed skill. Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It Challenge.ReplyDelete
What a stunner, Jo! I think the decision to include Night of Navy was genius as it really makes everything else pop. The vertical elements are fabulous and your layering lovely. Thanks for joining us at As You See It this week.ReplyDelete
