The sketch provided my inspiration - but I think I ended up a bit off-piste - perhaps my decision to try to avoid the literal interpretation of using flowers was to blame! I think you can still see the remains of the sketch, though:

ReplyDeleteI don't think you're off-piste at all. I think it's a creative and beautiful interpretation. I love the addition of the hot air balloon and those patterned vellum clouds are amazing!
