The current sketch from Thank God It's Friday (#tgif159) made me think about hearts, so that's what I went with, when making this card. To do the clouds I had to fight my brain's spatial ineptness, so it took me a while to work out that I should use a die to make cloud shapes in post-it notes, then use the hole rather than the shape to sponge onto the card, first onto white card at the top, then onto previously sponged card, in the same colour, to make the v-shape at the bottom. Phew!
Card ingredients:
Stampin' Up ink (Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo), card (Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, Shimmery White), stamps (Heart Happiness, Sure Do Love You, Lift Me Up), dies (Rainbow Builders, Up and Away, Lots to Love Box), enamel shapes

New season Stampin' Up!
A very useable challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch this week (#271) allowed me to dip my toes in the new Stampin' Up 'Love What You Do' stamps. I can see there's going to be a lot of fun to be had with these! I don't have the accompanying paper, but tried using some of its colours in the card. I was a little dubious about the combination in theory, but really like the result.
Card ingredients: Stampin' Up ink (Grapefruit Grove, Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron, Old Olive), card (Mint Maracon, Shimmery White), stamps (Love What you do, Thoughtful Banners - for the sentiment), Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon and Share What we Love accessory.

Pretty colours
A lovely soft palette from Just Add Ink's challenge #408 and a pleasing sketch from CAS Colours and Sketches #271 led me to make this card - my first go with the new season's Stampin' Up release 'Make a Difference' just one tiny little stamp to dip my toe in the water!
Card Ingredients:
Stampin' Up ink (Wild Wasabi, Powder Pink, Basic Black) watercolour pencil in Melon Mambo, card (Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Powder Pink, Wild Wasabi), stamps (Make a Difference, Petal Palette) dies (Layering Circles, Petals and More), Embossing folder.
Other products: franchville rhinestones
Bright Bunch
After a minimalist couple of cards last week, this week I went maximalist (if that's not a word, it should be). Retro Rubber's Challenge 86 'Beautiful flowers' was an invitation to use lots of colour, and Freshly Made sketch's Challenge 336 provided me with a great frame. The main stampset I used was 'Beautiful Bouquet', which first appeared in the 2017 - 2018 catalogue.

Speedy shades of grey
It's not often (in fact, this might be a first!) that a blog challenge makes me laugh out loud - but As You See It's challenge #175: 'Speedy Shades of Grey' - did!
The card took me 9 minutes and 20 seconds - although, in the interests of full disclosure, I did pause the countdown when the pearls dropped behind the desk and I had to get down on hands and knees to retrieve them! It also made me realise I really need to buy 'Basic Grey' ink - I was hard pressed to find more than one shade!

Softly, softly
A beautiful colour combination from CAS Colours and Sketches and an elegant sketch from Freshly Made Sketches invited me to make a couple of cards this week - one very simple, and one slightly less so. Both colour and sketch seemed to require restraint, so I did my best, even though that is definitely not my forte!
