New Favourite

Well, there's no question what my new favourite is from Stampin' Up - the utterly delicious Needlepoint Nook suite - so it was great to see Paper Craft Crew's invitation, in challenge #316, to showcase it. I recently went to a card class run by the marvelous Jan Clothier (check her out here!) where we made screen cards, so the first thing I did when I got home (who needs dinner, anyway?) was make one using this new favourite.

Ingredients:
Stampin' Up card (Petal Pink, Old Olive, Whisper White), ink (Berry Burst, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black), Needlepoint Nook,DSP, stamps and framelits, Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp (for sentiment), banner punch (for base).

Circling

What an interesting sketch Freshly Made Sketches #292 was!
I managed, kind of accidentally, to turn it into a technical challenge by deciding I would make the circles different shades of card. Then somehow, during that process, I managed to reverse the sketch. I'm still not sure how that happened, except that it's got to do with my appalling lack of spatial awareness (is that even what it's called? When you can't work out which way around things go - like the paper in the photocopier when you're trying to double-side something manually?)
Anyway - here's the card:

Made Using
Stampin' Up: 'Affectionately Yours' DSP, Big on Birthdays stamps (sentiment), Layering Circles dies, Blossom Bunch punch, Dapper Denim, Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party paper
Other: ek tiny flower punch, Rosie's Epoxy Dots.
