What an interesting sketch Freshly Made Sketches #292 was!
I managed, kind of accidentally, to turn it into a technical challenge by deciding I would make the circles different shades of card. Then somehow, during that process, I managed to reverse the sketch. I'm still not sure how that happened, except that it's got to do with my appalling lack of spatial awareness (is that even what it's called? When you can't work out which way around things go - like the paper in the photocopier when you're trying to double-side something manually?)
Anyway - here's the card:
Made Using
Stampin' Up: 'Affectionately Yours' DSP, Big on Birthdays stamps (sentiment), Layering Circles dies, Blossom Bunch punch, Dapper Denim, Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party paper
Other: ek tiny flower punch, Rosie's Epoxy Dots.
Love the way it sucks you in like a vortex. And on the good side... at least you never had to teach rotational geometry!
ReplyDeleteHaha! You're right - New Zealand's students don't know how lucky they are.
ReplyDeleteThe switch is just something that happens on the way to the card, haha! Seems to happen to me all the time!! Love this take on the sketch and your design is fabulous. Glad you joined us this week at FMS!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shades of blue and a fun design -- intentionally or not! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
ReplyDeleteSpacially aware or not I love how your card turned out! Those circles have a cool, funky vibe going on and the little flowers are a great accent! Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
