Global Design Project #GOP050

This sketch was appealing in its simplicity, and made me think hard about how to use the block of colour in the middle in a way that wasn't too plain, but didn't overwhelm the sentiment. I took the opportunity to use one of my new favourite suites: Stampin' Up's 'Affectionately Yours'.

Made using Stampin' Up products:
Card: Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron
Ink: Night of Navy, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush
Stamps: Love and Affection, Banners for You, Falling Flowers
Punches: Banners, Pansy
Other: DSP from Affectionately Yours pack, Mayflowers framelits

  1. I think you picked exactly the right paper to go with your floral accent (or vice versa) and I like the way your card is still clean, despite the busy paper.

  2. Such a sweet card Jo, with the perfect choice of DSP for that large block. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week with us.
