Celebrating Curves!

It's finally stopped raining - so this card seems appropriate - a celebration of spring, in response to CAS(E) this Sketch's sketch #288:

and Just Add Ink's pretty inspiration photo:

My card ended up like this:

Stampin' Up card (Shimmery White, Mossy Meadow), ink (Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry) watercolor pencils (Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive), DSP (Share What You Love) Stamps (Detailed with Love, Petal Palette, Thoughtful Branches for sentiment), Detailed Trio Punch, dies (Petals and More, Layering Circles), Petals and more embellishments.
Other product: Faber Castell pink watercolour pencil

Daisies & Lace

One thing I love about the Retro Rubber Challenge blog is that it makes me reconsider and reuse old favourites - and for the latest sketch challenge:

I turned back to one of my 'best of the best' stamp sets - Grateful Bunch - one of the very first stamps I bought when I discovered the wonderful world of card making (from the 2016- 2017 catalogue). Paper Craft Crew provided me with a lovely set of very spring-like colours:

 - entirely suitable down here in New Zealand, where we're seeing daffodil plants edge their way above the cold ground's surface - a promise that spring will be here soon!

Ingredients:
Stampin' Up card, (Thick Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White), ink (Tempting Turquoise, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black), Stamp set (Grateful Bunch and Mixed Borders for sentiment), Daisy punch, Glitter enamel dots
Other products: francheville diamantes and Sizzix Tattered Floral thinlits.

Framed Flowers

I thought the latest colour challenge from The Paper Players (#376) was great: Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide. I especially liked how we could choose one other colour to use. I sponged quite an intense background with Dapper Denim and Lemon Lime Twist and framed it with the Tranquil Tide, so chose Pink Pirouette to lightly sponge flowers and for the top layer of the sentiment - just to lighten things up.
The card:

Made using:
Stampin' Up: paper (Whisper White, Basic Black, Shimmering White, Pink Pirouette, Dapper Denim, Tranquil Tide, Lemon Lime Twist); ink (Whisper White, Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist, Pink Pirouette), Celebrate you thinlits (sentiment)

Father's Day

Father's Day is fast approaching in New Zealand, so I turned to two challenges as inspiration for a card for Dad. I returned to Global Design Project's 100th challenge and chose another designer to CASE - this time, Louise Sharp's crisp card. I combined her layout with the colours from CAS Colours and Sketches' Challenge #236: Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry.
I hope Dad enjoys the result:

Made using:
Stampin' Up:
Inks: Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Basic Black and Smoky Slate
Paper: Whisper White and Bermuda Bay
Stamps: Totally Trees and Thoughtful Banners
Punch: Banners
Other products: MFT Horizontal Stitched Strips, Sizzix Tag Collection Framelits, American Crafts string
